Bill Duncan was born an hour north of Rafferty’s stomping ground of Dallas, before his family relocated to Australia in the mid-1970’s.
He studied Architecture at university and spent 20 years working in the design and construction industry before turning his hand to writing.
In 2017, he republished the first six Rafferty P.I. books (written by his father in the 1980s) and has continued to add new stories to the series since then.
He lives with his partner Catherine in the coastal city of Newcastle, Australia.
